Inspired by a decade of grassroots community-building work alongside youth in Oregon and Washington, Nyaz approaches each project with a sense of curiosity and joy. They believe design is a catalyst for empowerment. Through a foundational cycle of study, action, and reflection, Nyaz works closely with their team members to bring ideas to life that celebrate the learning process and illuminate new insights. Growing up as a third-culture kid, Nyaz appreciates the different ways people move through the built environment and seeks to ground design decisions in authentic, real-world experiences.
