Located in the Chehalem Valley, Newberg School District serves the cities of Newberg and Dundee, rural Yamhill County, and parts of Washington and Clackamas Counties. In fall 2019, the District hired BRIC to provide a range of planning services in anticipation of a future school construction bond. Our team worked closely with the District’s Bond Development Committee to identify and prioritize potential bond projects based on the community’s educational vision. Several small focus groups were held with key stakeholders to ensure that the District’s plans addressed the needs of its diverse community.
The District hired Wright Public Affairs to collect community feedback on the proposed bond projects through public polling and provide bond communications support. BRIC continues to work with Newberg School District in preparation for November 2020.
