Seaside Heights Elementary School

As a part of Seaside School District’s effort to ensure all their students attend schools safely outside the city’s tsunami zone, they developed a plan to consolidate their two existing elementary schools into a single school.

Through a remodel of the existing building and the integration of eight additional modular classrooms, Seaside Heights Elementary School’s capacity will double to accommodate the combined population of the District’s two existing elementary schools as well as future students. In order to fulfill the District’s goal of providing the Seaside community with safe learning environments, the existing building will receive code, building systems, security, and seismic upgrades. Finally, a new separate gymnasium building and covered play area will be constructed will provide additional sports and recreation resources for elementary students.
